I ‘ll talk at appropriate time – Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan has promised to break his silence on his experience in office and other sundry issues at the appropriate time.
Ha gave the assurance when State House correspondents approached him for interview at the end of the Good Friday Service organised by the Aso Villa Chapel.
He said, “Don’t worry, I will talk to you at the appropriate time,” amidst smile as he made his way from the chapel to his official residence.
His wife, Dame Patience Jonathan and mother, Madam Eunice Jonathan, were absent at the three-hour service that featured the Seven Words of Christ on the Cross, but Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State and the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christians Pilgrims Commission, Mr. John Kennedy- Okpara were present.
Others were the Chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission, Mrs. Joan Ayo; Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria, Mr. Ima Niboro; and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Power, Ambassador Godknows Igali as well as personal aides of the President.
The seven short exhortations that accompanied the seven lessons by different members of the congregation were liken to Jonathan’s sacrifice to keep the county one by conceding defeat in the last Saturday’s presidential elections and congratulating the President-elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress to the sacrifice Jesus Christ made to safe mankind.
All seven members who took the lessons agreed that that bold step taken by the president at the appropriate time was commendable.
They urged him to remain focused because his future is in the hands of God.
“This man (Jonathan) said here that he is the most criticised President and he prophesied that by the time he would be leaving, he will be the most celebrated President. That has come to pass with the way he is being celebrated worldwide for conceding defeat,” one of the clergymen who led intercessory prayers said.
The service also featured renditions of special hymns as well as intercessory prayers for the President, for peace and for the country at large.
In his short remarks, the Aso Villa Chaplain, Venerable Obioma Onwuzurumba, urged the Bayelsa governor to tell Bayelsans that the congregation was happy even in the darkest hour and urged them to follow suit.
He announced that the first Sunday in May, which falls on the 3rd, is thanksgiving service for the first family, adding that is for them to have a glorious exit into a more glorious service to the nation.
He also said the yearly presidential prayer and breakfast meeting which usually holds after Easter celebrations will hold on May 25, and will also be an opportunity for the Christian community to also celebrate the president since it will be his last before exiting office on May 29.
